SHIZEN Material Conversion and Separation Technology

SHIZEN means ‘Natural’, ‘Ecology’ and ‘Automatic’ in Japanese. Research topics of SHIZEN iKohza are closely related to the three words from viewpoints of chemical engineering. Especially, SHIZEN iKohza provides precise experimental data on fundamental properties, like vapor pressure, gas solubility, VLE, SLE and so on, for various industries. Some members develop thermodynamic models on phase equilibria. Separation and reaction process are also designed from a view point of sustainability, physical properties and phase equilibrium.
