Welcome to the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Located near the iconic Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, MJIIT proudly upholds the motto “Engineering the Nation with Precision for Sustainable Development.” Our mission is to cultivate knowledgeable human capital, leading technological advancements while preserving the environment.

At MJIIT, our curriculum integrates strong theoretical foundations with essential people skills. Selected students have the unique opportunity to study in Japan, gaining international exposure and a deep appreciation for the  Japanese education system and global approach to academic excellence. Our graduates are equipped to excel in their professions and make meaningful contributions to society. We take great pride in our 100% graduate employability rate, achieved consecutively over the past two years.

We will focus on strengthening our partnerships with Japanese counterparts, positioning MJIIT as a Japanese Edu-Hub in ASEAN, and enhancing MJIIT as a premier educational institution. Our core values—Shinrai (Trustworthiness), Chousen (Challenge), Jissen (Practicality), Kenkyo (Modesty), and Kizukai (Thoughtfulness)—will guide these efforts.
