KL Sustainable School Convention 2025 (KLSSC2025)

Join us in shaping a sustainable future since the school at the KL Sustainable School Convention 2025 (KLSSC2025). The program is part of the Sustustainable School Program under Local Agenda 21 Kuala Lumpur by Kuala Lumpur City Council.

The Sustainable School Exhibition is held during the KLSSC2025 to showcase successful sustainable programs and projects in the schools in the KL area. The sustainable future requires an innovative and creative young generation, which will be groomed and advocated through the National Sustainability Innovation Challenge 2025 (NaSIC’25).

SUSTAINABLE SCHOOL EXHIBITION

The Sustainable School Exhibition aims to showcase the innovative, impactful sustainability initiatives that have been implemented in Kuala Lumpur schools between February 2024 and April 2025. This exhibition provides a platform for schools to present their outstanding efforts in fostering environmental stewardship and sustainability within their communities. Participating schools will highlight programs that demonstrate measurable outcomes in the selected category. Each program will be evaluated based on its environmental, social, and economic impacts, ensuring that these solutions not only promote sustainability but also bring tangible benefits to the students, local communities, and the wider region. The categories to be competed in this exhibition are:

This year’s competition invites schools from across Kuala Lumpur, bringing together a diverse range of sustainable practices that inspire collaboration and learning. With a focus on real, quantifiable results, each entry will feature detailed insights into the program’s outcomes, from water saved and waste reduced to energy conserved and social benefits achieved. Through the exhibition, we aim to celebrate the ingenuity of young minds and the dedication of educators who are shaping the future of sustainability. We look forward to exploring the transformative power of these initiatives and the positive ripple effects they will have in both school environments and beyond.
