Disaster Preparedness & Prevention Centre (DPPC)
The Disaster Preparedness & Prevention Centre (DPPC) is a research centre established at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia focused on conducting multi-disciplinary research and training on disaster management and public safety both nationally and in the ASEAN region.
Research @ MJIIT is classified into several distinct groups of iKohzas. Unlike typical research groups, iKohzas at MJIIT are formal structures for collaborative research. Each is led by a senior academic with group members comprising academics and researchers of similar interests, and students as a junior members.
Japanese Language and Cultural Center (JLCC)
MJIIT has established its Japanese Language and Cultural Centre, with the aims to provide opportunities for students to participate in educational programmes, experience the Japanese culture, develop creative abilities, and develop intercultural understanding through participation in activities or programs.
