MASTER PROJECT
Students will work on Project 1 and 2 in the second and third semester respectively as the final output of the MDRM Programme. Under the supervision of the supervisors, these projects seek students to choose a DRM issue covered in the courses and discuss options and solutions through various research methodologies and field practices.
The MDRM programme in conjunction with the Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Centre (DPPC) will assist students to conduct their projects
Examples of possible project topics:
- Development of natural disaster risk index induced by climate change for Malaysia
- Issues in flood and landslide forecasting
- Designing earthquake risk map
- Utilization of drones for disaster response and relief operation
- Measures for water supply and sanitation in post-disaster areas
