The Disaster Preparedness & Prevention Centre (DPPC), Malaysia – Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Kuala Lumpur will be organizing the Webinar on Sediment Related Issues for Sustainable Reservoir Management that will be held on 23 June 2021 via ZOOM platform (FOR FIRST 100 PARTICIPANTS ONLY), DPPC Facebook Live and DPPC Youtube Live. This program aims to
- Share the experiences from ASEAN countries including Malaysia and Japan by academic experts & local government on reservoir sedimentation management;
- Discuss the current issues and gaps faced with regards to reservoir sedimentation;
- Suggest solutions and the way forward through knowledge sharing and transfer between government entities and and academic researchers
