IDRM2020 aims at advancing science and technology for disaster risk reduction (DRR) to support the risk-informed sustainable development and investment in a changing climate. This event offers practical guidance for aligning our DRR strategy with Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. It addresses four themes: 1) Promoting Risk-Informed Sustainable Development and Investment; 2) Understanding Disaster Risk and Strengthening Risk Governance; 3) Redefining DRR and Resilience Strategies, 4) From Knowledge to Action: Learning to Go the Last Mile.
