DPPC seeks to advance science and technology for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience (DR3), support evidence-based decision-making for reducing future disaster risk, and promote transdisciplinary approach (TDA) for building societal resilience to achieve UNDRR Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) that addresses current challenges in facing systemic risks and compound disaster in a changing climate.
DPPC would like to bring together experts from various fields and countries to exchange ideas and gain new perspective, under future demands and forge new partnership that could have local, regional and global impacts.
