The Malaysia-Japan Tribology Symposium (MJTS) was held since 2012 with collaborations from the Malaysian Tribology Society (MYTRIBOS) and Japanese Society of Tribologists (JAST) under the name Malaysia-Japan Tribology Meeting. This symposium helps in enhancing communication between researchers, engineers and students in the Tribology field from Malaysia and Japan.

Poster Presentation

• Open to young researchers (35 years old and below).
• The best poster will be awarded “Best Poster Award“.
• Poster should be in portrait size (6 ft x 2 ft/approx. 182.9 cm x 61 cm). A poster stand will be provided.
• Poster printing is available with charges of RM50.00 per poster (submission deadline: 6 July 2026).
• Participants need to print and hang their own poster during the symposium at the provided area.
  
• There is no specific formatting for the poster preparation. However, basic information such as title, list of authors, affiliations, and other relevant content is required.

Oral Presentation

• Open to all. 
• The best presenter will be awarded “Best Presenter Award“.
• The presentation time allocated for each presenter is 15 minutes (10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).
• Oral presentation sessions will be conducted in parallel with several presentation rooms divided according to research focus topics.
• Details on presentation schedules will be updated later (by 20 July 2026 at the latest).
