Tribotesters

Our tribotesters are uniquely designed focusing on clarifying the sliding behavior between pin-on-disc / ball-on-disc / and ball-on-ball at different environment settings.

  • Designed to provide access to collect sliding debris
  • Utilized smaller disc
  • Results provided with Spatiotemporal Mapping (Loading, Friction, Pin displacement, Electrical resistance)

Spatiotemporal Mapping Analysis

720 data points per sliding were collected providing accurate analysis of element transfers, defects on samples, and lubrication regiments.

Humidity Generator

Test were conducted in an enclosed chamber designed and fabricated by our researcher ranges between 3% RH up to 95% RH.

Determination of Laplace force during sliding

First of its kind of test designed to clarify the effect of adsorb water layer towards friction.
