INTRODUCTION
Yamaghuchi University – Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology International Joint Intellectual Property Laboratory (YU – MJIIT IJIPL) is a jointly managed laboratory located in MJIIT focusing on IP research. We, at IJIPL, are using state-of-the-art technology and approach to comprehensively analyze the patent document and its relation to company’s expansion, technology development and technology management for strategic planning
IJIPL is the 1st laboratory dedicated patent research in Malaysia’s Higher education institution.
OUR MISSION
The mission of YU-MJIIT IJIPL is to be a center of excellence in Management of Technology research, with special emphasis on intellectual property, in Asia region.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of YU-MJIIT IJIPL is to promote joint research between YU and MJIIT and to be a center of Management of Technology research in Asia region. YU and MJIIT cooperate to achieve these objectives through following activities:
- maintain and develop research dataset
- enhance research environment
- develop research projects
- outreach researchers in relevant research field and build research team
- support researchers to explore the database designated in item (a)
- Organize international conference
- Other activities relevant to achieve the objective above
YU-MJIIT IJIPL is open for collaboration with universities and industries on IP research.
