We had a special lecture on Radar Cross Section (RCS) from head of CSN iKohza and Research Lab. MJIIT – UTM KL, Prof. Dr. Yoshihide Yamada.
He was a senior researcher in Electrical Communication Laboratories of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) and a professor of National Defense Academy. Therefore, he has a wide experience in antenna design and RCS.
What is RCS 
🤔? RCS is a measure of how detectable an object is by radar, thus it is used to obtain a measure of diffraction.

Introducing Anechoic Chamber at Antenna Research Laboratory MJIIT UTM KL.
Finally, we have anechoic chamber !! 😀😀
Our anechoic chamber is suitable for antenna measurement with frequency range up to 40 GHz.
So, antenna measurement training has been held today at Antenna Research Lab. MJIIT – UTM KL.
The training was conducted by Prof. Ir. Dr. Koo Voon Chet and Ms. Siti Zahra.
This training consists of 3D and 2D Antenna Measurement.

Malaysia – Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) Universiti Teknologi Malaysia(UTM) held an exhibition entitled “Final Year Project Exhibition 2018”. The exhibition was held on 15th May 2018 at Dewan Tan Sri Ainuddin Wahid, UTM Kuala Lumpur.
The objective of this exhibition is to provide opportunities to final year students exhibit their research, create awareness among the students about the activities of research and development at the undergraduate. It is proud to say that this exhibition is a day of appreciation and a well-earned recognition to our final year students for their efforts in their projects.

On 27th April 2018, Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Selamat visited CSN i-Kohza to meet CSN i-kohza head and members. He toured the research facilities at our research group.
Prof. Dr. Ali Selamat is a Professor and Dean at MJIIT, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Previously he was a Chief Information Officer of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Research Dean at UTM Research Office and was an IT Manager at School of Graduate Studies (SPS), UTM.
