“PREMECH BOHEMIAN NIGHT 2018”
A quality student is a student who excels not only in academics but also active in his co-curriculums activities. In fact, students should always be aware of the current issues happening globally and apply the theory they have learned in a practical form. Hence on 3rd May 2018, this program was developed to establish high-quality students that are sustainable and have a productive attitude in serving the community. In addition, students are exposed to the external environment to promote students’ interaction with the community and with each other. Therefore, PREMECH ANNUAL DINNER 2018 provides opportunities for students to engage in outdoor activities that can help students master the soft skills needed while maintaining excellence in academics and co-curriculum activities in order to meet the expectation of a University of Technology Malaysia’s graduate and be competent in the outside world, as well as celebrating all PREMECH members especially the final year students for all their hard work throughout the year.
The hall was decorated in accordance to the theme of “Bohemian Night”.

IAP Industrial Talk 2018
MPE department organized the IAP Industrial Talk from 2pm- 4pm on 4th October 2018 at Dewan Jumaah, UTM Kuala Lumpur. The Speaker of the Industrial Talk is Ir. Zahari Samat. Ir. Zahari taught the MPE students the work ethics and cultures of being a good engineer and some guidance for the potential engineers in the department. Ir. Zahari also taught the students about the certification, codes & standards of engineers and the job scope of different engineer. The industrial talk has benefited the MPE students a lot and have a better view of prospect career in the future.

Premech Family Day 2018
On 24 February 2018. 80 students from MPE department has organized the Annual PREMECH Family Day at Teluk Kemang, Selangor in order to enhance the relationship between MPE students and lecturers. There are ice breaking session, telematch games and also barbeque!!!! All MPE students are involved in this exciting family day. PREMECH advisor, Dr. Ishimatsu, and 7 exchange students from the University of Tokyo, Japan also joined the family day. We are also want to create awareness to the student about the importance to keep our beach clean by having “gotong-royong” at the end of the event.
