Dr. Halinawati Binti Hirol

Dr Halinawati obtained her Bachelor (GIS) degree, Master (Hydrology) degree and PhD (Hydrology) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She previously taught at School of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, UTM Skudai before joining the Faculty of Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), UTM KL. Her teaching and research interests revolve around hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, numerical methods, computer programming and software engineering.

Prof Ali Selamat is currently the Dean of Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) which is an autonomous educational institute under Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), that is established under the cooperation of the government of Malaysia and the government of Japan in 2011. Prof Ali Selamat received a B.Sc. (Hons.) in IT from Teesside University, U.K., and M.Sc. in Distributed Multimedia Interactive Systems from Lancaster University, U.K. in 1997 and 1998, respectively. He has received a Dr. Eng. degree from Osaka Prefecture University, Japan in 2003. He was the Chief Information Officer (CIO), UTM, and was the Dean of Research, Knowledge-Economy Research Alliance, UTM. He is currently a Chair of IEEE Computer Society Malaysia Chapter. He is also in the Editorial Boards for Knowledge-Based Systems, Elsevier, International Journal of Information and Database Systems (IJIIDS), Inderscience Publications, Vietnam Journal of Computer Science, Springer Publications. He has been a visiting professor at Hradec-Kralove University, Czech Republic, Kuwait University, and few other universities in Japan. His research interests include cloud-based software engineering, software agents, information retrievals, pattern recognition, genetic algorithms, neural networks and soft-computing, knowledge management, and higher education key performance indicators

Dr. Nor Shahida Binti Hasan

Dr. Nor Shahida Binti Hasan

Dr. Nor Shahida Binti Hasan is currently a Fellow Academic under Software Engineering at Malaysia-Japan International institute of Technology (MJIIT) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (UTMKL). She finished her PhD, Master Degree and Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering at UTM, Skudai, JB. During her studies, she received UTM Zamalah’s scholarship and MyBrain15 scholarship. Previously, she worked as a part time lecturer at UniKL, MITEC Pasir Gudang. She teaches Automatic Control Systems for one semester. Her expertise lies in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Microgrid, Power Electronic, Control System and Telecommunication System. Her recent research interests include Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Industrial Revolutions.

Dr. Zatul Binti Alwani

Dr. Zatul Alwani currently works as an academic fellow at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. She just graduated with her PhD in Computer Science specialized in Optimization from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). Besides that, she also obtained her Bachelor Degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and Intelligence. She also has experiences as research assistant and system developer during internship at Terengganu State Government Office. Her research interests mainly on Artificial Intelligence, Optimization, Logic Programming, Image Processing and Computer and Internet Security.

Dr. Siti Husnaa Binti Mohd Taib

Dr. Siti Husnaa Mohd Taib is currently a Graduate Research Assistant and final year PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) under Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur. Siti Husnaa completed her master’s degree in Halal Products Science in 2015 and her undergraduate studies in Petroleum Chemistry in 2010 at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her research interest lies in the area of nanomaterial, ranging from preparing to its application. She also has research experience and publication in the optimization process using Response Surface Methodology and Artificial Neural Network software.

En. Lokman Azrai Bin Lokmanulhakim

En. Azrai Hakim currently works as an Assistance Research Officer at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. He was completed his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Batu Pahat, Johor. He has experiences as civil engineer for Non-Destructive Testing in Concrete Structure which is based in Singapore.

Dr. Airil Yasreen Bin Mohd Yassin

Dr. Airil Yasreen is an Associate Professor at the School of EGIS. He teaches structural engineering subjects with 18 years of experience in the academia. He obtained a PhD from the Imperial College in structural engineering and his research focuses have been on computational mechanics and numerical method. He has authored and co-authored two books and published more than fourty research articles. He is the immediate past President of the Malaysian Society for Numerical Methods (MSNM).

Dr. Muhammad ‘Arif Mohamad obtained his Bachelor of Computer Science (Industrial Computing) degree, Master of Science (Computer Science) degree and PhD (Computer Science) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Previously, he taught at UNITAR International University before joining the Faculty of Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), UTM KL. His research interests mainly on Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence .
