TriPreM (Tribology and Precision Machining i-Kohza) had a visitor from AIST (National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology) Japan. Dr. Abe is the authority on standard gas generation and measurement technology of humidity. He is also the co-inventor of the trace-humidity controller patent of mine which is granted in Japan. We discussed the possibility of collaboration work on humidity control technology between MJIIT and AIST.

On 5 April 2019, TriPreM (Tribology and Precision Machining i-Kohza) had visitors from MOF (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Japan and Embassy of Japan in Malaysia. Prof. Fukuda explained Japanese style education and research practiced in MJIIT.

On 22 February 2019, Prof. Dr. Kanao Fukuda was invited to give a lecture titled “Introduction to Tribology and How It Contributes to Industries” at PROTON Research & Development, Shah Alam. The lecture was assisted by the PROTON’s Head of Advanced Engineering, Ir. Azmi bin Osman and was attended by PROTON’S engineers. Fruitful discussion was made between PROTON R&D and TriPreM members.

On 29 January 2019, our Head of iKohza, Prof. Dr. Kanao Fukuda was invited to give a speech for for Tokai tribology workshop at Meijyo University, Nagoya. His speech was entitled “Relationship between water in environmental gases and friction and wear phenomena”.
