Congratulations to undergraduate students on Receiving Awards in MJIIT Final Year Project Symposium 2019

MJIIT FINAL YEAR PROJECT SYMPOSIUM 2019 is a showcase for undergraduate research across disciplines to present about their final year project. The Symposium includes poster and presentation sessions by students. The symposium was examined by Industrial and Academic panels with different backgrounds to evaluate students’ project.

There are three categories nominated which are Best Final Year Project, Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Best Manufacturing Project. Congratulations to our TriPreM Undergraduate students, Muhammad Saifulnizam B. Mohd Yunus, and Shukri Nazri on winning the Best Manufacturing Project and also Muhammad Amirul Adha Bin Mohd Khalid on winning The Best Final Year Project at MJIIT FINAL YEAR PROJECT SYMPOSIUM 2019. The event was organized by Malaysian – Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), UTM KL sponsored by MSM Metal Industries Sdn Bhd on 16 May 2019. Saifulnizam, Shukri, and Adha presented their project on “Tribological Characterization of Anodic Composite Film Reinforced with Fly Ash Particles”, “ Tribological Characterization for Polyoxymethylene (POM) Reinforced by Oilpalm Empty Fruit Bunch (OPEFB)” and “Multiple Lubricant with Ultrasonic Excitation” respectively.

The 6th ASIA INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON TRIBOLOGY 2018 (ASIATRIB 2018)

ASIATRIB 2108 is one of the event of the in the series International Trilogy Conferences which assembled national tribology society such as from Asia-Pasicif Country. The 6th ASIATRIB was hold last 17th Septmeber in Kuching, Sarawak. As the objectives  are to share ideas among the researches and the academicians  from various agencies, 5 members of TRIPREM had also attended the conference.

The following are participants from Tribology and Precision Machining i-Kohza:

Prof. Dr. Kanao Fukuda Fundamental Physical Mechanisms of Adhesive Wear Identified With Spatiotemporal Mapping Analysis
Dr. Shahira Liza Binti Kamis Fabrication And Wear Characterization Of Dimple Textured On The Surface Of Uhmwpe
Noor Dalilah A Manaf Influences Of Surface Roughness On Water Adsorption On Austenitic Stainless Steel
Nurhazfarahin Md Ali Spatiotemporal Mapping Analysis On The Sliding Behavior Of Steels With Different Hardness
