Optical Emission Spestrometry (ICP-OES)

Inductively coupled plasma – optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) is a technique in which the composition of heavy metal elements in (mostly water-dissolved) samples can be determined using plasma and a spectrometer. Analysis is in accordance to Standard Methods 3120B by APHA.

APPLICATION
For measurement of heavy metals including Cadmium, Selenium, Arsenic, Lead, Chromium, Copper, Tin, Manganese, Nickel, Barium, Boron, Iron, Zinc and Aluminium. Samples can be environmental samples including water, soil and sediment, as well as samples from food and beverages, forensic analysis, metal ores, and many more.
