We welcome our guest, Mr Yap Kian Kun, from Imperial College London for a polymer tribology research collaboration. Yap is an alumnus of TriPreM (Tribology and Precision Machining) i-Kohza and is currently a PhD student at Imperial College London. He received the STLE Elmer E. Klaus Fellowship 2022<\/strong> for his work in in-situ tribometry for polymer characterisation<\/strong>. He also contributed his knowledge of lubrication to discuss the\u00a0solutions to PPE-induced skin injuries among healthcare workers during COVID-19<\/strong> which were published in the Tribology & Lubrication Technology (TLT) magazine in July 2021.\u00a0We hope this collaboration will lead to great achievements in the field of tribology.<\/p>\n
