Research Interest Antenna and Microwave Sensor
Current Research In this research, a cylindrical lens antenna is employed and each feed produces individual radiation beams. Based on initial structures, the radiation characteristics and modifications of antenna structures need to be analyzed. The process of analyzing lens antenna is repeating until sufficient multi beams are achieved. By adequately designing the cross-sectional lens surfaces, radiation beam shapes will be distinguished instead of determining the cylinder diameter that should be as small as possible in practical applications. Thus, many lens design examples and its parameter should be studied such as feed radiation pattern, refractive index of the lens and radiation beam shapes are taken into accounts to obtain the suitable structure for 5G mobile systems application.
