University-Industry-Government (UIG) Partnership for Environmental Resilience and Sustainability is an event organized in conjunction with the Malaysia-Japan Joint International Conference 2022 (MJJIC) which will be held on 25-26 October 2022 at Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The objective of this Special Side Event is to explore the possibilities of University–Industry–Government (UIG) Partnership for building environmental resilience and sustainability in Malaysia. This event invites speakers and the participants from Malaysia and Japan with various expertise in disaster risk reduction and management to discuss on topics, including application of satellite data and technology for DRR and flood and debris flow management utilising Big Data and IoT.
