International Workshop and Field Practice on Disaster Risk Management (IDRM2020)<\/strong><\/h5>\n

IDRM2020<\/strong> aims at advancing science and technology for disaster risk reduction (DRR) to support the risk-informed sustainable development and investment in a changing climate. It promotes best practices, policies and directions for better implementing disaster risk management and mainstreaming DRR into development planning. This event offers practical guidance for aligning our DRR strategy with Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. It addresses four themes: 1) Promoting Risk-Informed Sustainable Development and Investment; 2) Understanding Disaster Risk and Strengthening Risk Governance; 3) Redefining DRR and Resilience Strategies, 4) From Knowledge to Action: Learning to Go the Last Mile. We provide a multi-sectoral stakeholders platform to exchange views, issues, and challenges related to disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and societal resilience.<\/p>\n
