Special Development Plan (RKK) of Genting Highlands Study<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

Genting Highlands is a highland area in the Titiwangsa Range with an elevation of more than 1,000 meters above sea level. Because of these physical factors, the Genting Highlands area has a lower climatic temperature and slightly different species of flora and fauna than the lowland areas. The uniqueness of the scenery, with a cool temperate environment and habitat of flora and wildlife, is the main reason that this area is known as a leading vacation and tourism destination among both domestic and international tourists.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Kajian Rancangan Kawasan Khas (RKK) Genting Highlands, Hulu Selangor will involve close coordination among many stakeholders, including the government, developers, investors, landowners, and private agencies to guarantee that the development of Genting Highlands takes into account the needs of all stakeholders in the area. This study is founded on three (3) key justifications:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. integrated management of environmentally sensitive regions<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. the feasibility of development while considering environmental sensitivity<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. safety in disaster-prone zones.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
