Disaster managers today are demanded to plan and implement evidence-based disaster risk management and risk reduction measures for building resilience of their communities and countries for sustainable development. <\/span><\/p>\n

CPT Programme provides a better insight into multi-hazard risk assessment in an objective manner. Conceptual and fundamental of disaster risk analysis, assessment and management and reduction will be interactively presented in line with the target and goals of the UNDRR Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, coupling with regional and national policies. Modern and advanced geo-spatial data requirement for multi-hazard risk assessment will be explored and discussed with respect to the needs and demands <\/span><\/p>\n

With this understanding, MDRM courses are now offered as short-term Certified Professional Training (CPT) for working professionals or anyone who wants to build their knowledge and skills in a particular DRM issue.<\/span><\/p>\n

HOW TO REGISTER<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Registration for professional courses are open throughout the year, but offered as according to MDRM programme schedule of core courses<\/a> and elective courses<\/a>. DPPC offers in-house training Disaster Risk, Reduction and Resilience (DR3) the internationally accredited scope of training and services in disaster preparedness, mitigation and risk reduction strategies<\/span><\/p>\n

Disaster managers today are demanded to plan and implement evidence-based disaster risk management and risk reduction measures for building resilience of their communities and countries for sustainable development. <\/span><\/p>

With this understanding, MDRM courses are now offered as short-term Certified Professional Training (CPT) for working professionals or anyone who wants to build their knowledge and skills in a particular DRM issue. <\/span><\/p>

CPT students have the option to take the 2-week full course or to attend lecture sessions given by Japanese lecturers (2-3 days) depending on their time availability.<\/span><\/p>

Students who complete the full course will get 3 credits that can be accumulated over a period of 3 years to pursue a MA degree. Students who attend the 2-3 days session will be certified for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). *CPD application in process.
