As a whole, the facilities at the department, faculty and university are adequate for the Chemical Process Engineering (CPE) Programme. The facilities include teaching and learning rooms and equipment, laboratories and resource centre, University\u2019s libraries, and other student support services and facilities. The faculty places strong emphases on providing excellent facilities for infrastructure for teaching and learning as well as administration and academic services. MJIIT provides various facilities such as lecture rooms, problem based learning rooms, computer network, library, and laboratories to support teaching and learning activities which are shared amongst all the departments in MJIIT and also among other faculties in UTM Kuala Lumpur Campus.<\/p>\n

The entire facilities, that are located in the 10-storey MJIIT building at UTM Kuala Lumpur Campus, are ready since September 2011. MJIIT comprises of four departments; Department of Electronic Systems and Engineering (ESE), Department of Mechanical Precision Engineering (MPE), Department of Environmental Engineering and Green Technology, and Department of Management of Technology (MOT). Each department has its own dedicated laboratories which are adequate and accessible to all students. These facilities create a conducive environment for effective Teaching and Learning purposes, as well as promote enjoyment among the students throughout their study years in the faculty. In addition, the university also provides other facilities for students, such as the main library, examination halls, hostels, health centre, student\u2019s study area, recreational and sport facilities.<\/p>\n

The MJIIT has a wide range of laboratory facilities. All the facilities have been gradually being setup since 2011. Laboratories are categorized as Common IT related, Common Non-IT related, Chemistry Laboratory, Fluid Mechanics Laboratory, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics Laboratory, Chemical\/Biochemical Reaction Laboratory, Unit Operation Laboratory and Process Control Laboratory.<\/p>\n
