ALGAE AND BIOMASS RESEARCH LABORATORY<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Roboto||||||||” text_text_color=”#000000″ text_font_size=”16px” background_color=”rgba(194,216,173,0.87)” custom_padding=”20px|20px|0px|20px|false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n The focus of this iKohza is to tackle the issues related to green technology\u00a0such as production of renewable energy and biomass, reduction of\u00a0carbon dioxide, a greenhouse effect gas, from the air, using algae,\u00a0especially microalgae.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Current students are developing a method or improving current methods, to combat various environmental issues using microalgae. \u00a0Among the keywords related t our\u00a0i<\/em>kohza is Biofuel, Astaxanthin, Tropical microalgae.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Microalgae used in our\u00a0i<\/em>kohza are isolated from the samples collected from various places in Malaysia. The reason is, because we believe the indigenous species is expected performance of the isolated species, rather than using species bought from another region.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
