Assalamualaikum wbt and a very good day.
Welcome to the Department of Environmental Engineering and Green Technology (EGT) at UTM Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology. EGT focuses on environmental applications for sustainable future. We provide a multi-disciplinary research approach via national and global cooperations with stakeholders emphasising on water and wastewater studies, disaster risk measures and management, environmental sciences and engineering. We feel proud to adopt the Japanese-oriented engineering education outlook in our program development. The following postgraduate programs are managed under EGT:

- Master of Environmental Sciences and Sustainability (MMJJ), a Joint Degree Program with University of Tsukuba, Japan
In an effort to ensure that UTM-MJIIT is a leading and renowned hub of education and research, EGT emphasizes that the content of program offered is in accordance with the requirements of current job market. The strong support that we receive from 29 Japanese Universities Consortium (JUC) and national stakeholders has enable us to continuously expand our curriculum with the recent addition of the Joint Degree Program with University of Tsukuba. The Joint Degree Program features a one-year compulsory study in Japan under the auspices of joint supervision between UTM-MJIIT and University of Tsukuba. EGT aims to fulfill its vision of becoming a reputable provider for postgraduate academic program at UTM-MJIIT.

MWA Training - Workshop at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center for Asiawater 10 -12 April 2018
A training-workshop programme of applications-based topic aimed at water engineering professionals organised by The Malaysian Water Association (MWA) at the ASIAWATER 2018. The training-workshop emphasizes learning through discussion of case studies and practical solutions to issues. In-depth sessions by experts will address current trends and best practices to inspire interactive discussions and group knowledge-sharing. The CPD hours from Board of Engineers Malaysia are awarded to attendees.
